FORMER Super Eagles Captain, Henry Nwosu, has expressed his disappointment with the performance of the Super Eagles in Tuesday’s 2018 World Cup qualifier against Swaziland.

The Eagles defeated Swaziland 2-0 at the Adokiye Amiesiamaka Stadium in Port Harcourt to reach the group stage of the qualifiers.

Speaking to The Guardian on Wednesday, the former handler of the Golden Eaglets said although the team won, the performance of the players was not what was expected of a country like Nigeria considering the level of opposition.

“I must confess that the team did not play very well as I expected. What is playing well? Playing well to some people might be winning a match.
