Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is growing increasingly frustrated at Arsenal’s lack of activity over his new contract – opening up the prospect of him leaving this summer.

The England international is eager to resolve his future and was expecting Arsenal to begin talks quickly — however the Gunners are yet to formally offer him a new deal.

Oxlade-Chamberlain’s frustration has thrown his future into major doubt with Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City among the clubs watching developments.

The 23-year-old was one of Arsenal’s top performers during the closing weeks of the season, which saw them finish their Premier League campaign strongly and win the FA Cup.

The former Southampton man was informed that he could expect a quick conclusion regarding his new deal with Arsenal eager to secure their attacker’s future.

However, nearly a month after the end of the season, formal talks are yet to commence.

The lack of movement comes as a major shock given Oxlade-Chamberlain only has 12 months left on his deal.
