Startimes Nigeria will continue to thrill football lovers with scintillating live matches of the 2019 Copa America from the various venues of the competition.

After nearly two weeks of group-stage play, the drama will really pick up at the start of the knockout stages with Brazil hosting Paraguay, while Venezuela visit Argentina at the Arena do Gremio and Fonte Nova Arena respectively.

StarTimes Nigeria has assured subscribers of live broadcast of these matches and other thrilling sporting actions on Friday on its ST World Football Channels 244 and 254 and ST Sport Premium channel 246 at 1:30 am and 8:00 am respectively.

There have already been plenty of surprises in Brazil with underdogs fighting hard for draws and wins, but the stage still ended up with the best teams alive in the quarterfinals.

The favourites coming into the tournament like Brazil, Uruguay and just like two-time defending champion, Chile.

Brazil has showed it doesn’t need Neymar to have a dangerous attack against quality opponents. The hosts have scored eight goals and allowed zero in their three matches so far, including a dominant 5-0 performance against Peru on Saturday when it scored in a variety of ways.

With the calibre of Argentine team led by Lionel Messi, it will be right to admit that they will enter every Copa America competition with the ambition of winning it. But it is remarkable they have not managed to lift the trophy since 1993.

It is not for lack of trying, though. La Albiceleste have been in four of the last five Copa finals, but they have suffered defeats on every occasion.
