Big Volt boosts grassroots cup final, Brand Vision donates jerseys

According to the Coordinator of the final, Tayo Adeyemo, Big Volt, which is from the stable of AJEAST Nigeria Limited, wants to identify with Nigerian youths through the Lagos Grassroots Cup final.

Also speaking on the competition, Perpetual Eziefule-Ohiri of Ajeast Nigeria Limited said the company would provide refreshment and other items for the two finalists, guests and spectators.

She assured teams, guests, members of the media and fans of adequate hospitality during the final between Sunny F.C of Isolo and Red Tigers of Ejigbo, managed by Emmanuel Emenike.

Meanwhile, sports philanthropist, Prince Femi Akinyele has donated some sets of jerseys and boots to the two finalists.

Making the presentation at his office in Opebi, Lagos, the boss of Brand Vision said the donations were part of his organization’s support for youths using their talents for sporting purpose.

Akinyele, who assured that the gesture would be repeated annually, urged other Nigerians to encourage grassroots sports in the country.

In a related development, three Nigerians, who have supported grassroots sports in the past four years, will be honoured for their outstanding contributions.

The recipients include Christian Okpara of The Guardian newspapers, Francis Ifeajina of Suntory Foods and Beverages and Godwin Aruwayo of Naija FM.
