Desmond Enujeko aka ‘Doe Billz’ is a South Africa based Nigerian singer, songwriter and performing artist. The afrobeat star who is currently working on his sophomore project, has announced that he will be holding a two day virtual concert in February to give back to his fans. He made the announcement in an instagram live interactive session.

The 2 day concert will be held on his IG live on Sunday 13th Feb & Monday 14th February being Valentine Day. Doe Billz also revealed that he is hoping to have some of his artist friends whom he has collaborated with to perform with him too. “The best way to give back to fans is to share love on Val day by giving a free performance that anyone can tune in to without having to pay a dime”.

“I will be performing all of my previously released songs as well as some new unreleased ones from my forthcoming extended play project PRESS PLAY,” he revealed.

“This is something I have longed to do so my fans will have the opportunity of being the first ones to listen to my soon to be released EP. It’s also my way of testing the waters for my upcoming tour, and also to get feedback,” he said.

Doe Billz says the pandemic put a lot of things on hold and now that things are getting back to normal, his plan is to be more consistent in putting out music. “And to that effect, I will be releasing 2 projects this year, a joint collaborative EP with my creative partner Blinx, and my solo project PRESS PLAY”.

“These days it’s hard to find originality, everyone is sampling or jumping on one trend or the other just so they can go viral, but they forget that what is trending today will be replaced by new trends tomorrow”

“It is easier to stay in your own lane, when you stay true to yourself. You can carve out your niche without sounding like anyone else, and still be able to show your versatility.” Doe Billz reiterated.

“The philosophy and music of the late Bob Marley has always been a huge influence in my life and musically too. I chose music as a career first to express myself and secondly because I want to be an influence to others too. I just want to make music that will speak to people of every age, millennials and seniors alike while earning income and having the financial freedom to do music how I want, not how trends dictate,” he further explained.
