General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Mohammed Sanusi, yesterday urged the Super Falcons to put themselves together and ensure that they beat USA in today’s last group match of the ongoing FIFA Women World Cup in Canada.

The Super Falcons, who are occupying the last position on the group’s log, will meet group leaders, the United States, in one of the last games from the group in Vancouver, Canada.

Sanusi, who regretted the poor results that has been posted by the players, urged them to put the last two games behind them and focus 100 per cent on today’s match, warning that the game would be a tough one.

He expressed the federation’s satisfaction with the ladies’ performance against Sweden, noting that the U.S has always posed a big threat to the  Super Falcons at the FIFA Women World Cup.

“Against the U.S., I know it is going to be very though because they are a very good side and have always been a major problem to the Nigerian side.

This time around I want to think that with the confidence the team has started with, they will do well against USA. I have always said it that we all need the prayers of Nigerians to do well,” Sanusi noted.
