Amber House at the weekend won the First Quiver School, Ajao Estate Anthony, Lagos Inter-house sports competition, beating Topaz and Ruby houses to the second and third positions respectively.

Aimed at bringing families of First Quiver School together, the championship also gave parents the opportunity to compete among themselves to the delight of their cheering wards.

Head of the School, Olushola-Alao Omotola, said the decision to allow parents participate in the championship with their kids was aimed at bringing a unique dimension to the Inter-house sports competition.

“I am delighted that First Quiver School has succeeded in organising the first edition of the school’s inter-house sports competition. Our aim is to expose the kids to the rudiments of sports at a tender age.

“Getting the Kids display their skills in different sports will help develop their physical and mental well being as they grow. We decided to give the parents the chance to compete in the event to also create bonding among the parents and kids. The school’s vision is to nurture love among our teachers, students and parents,” she said.
