Recall… Yetunde’s self-help tools for personal development

Identity Coach, Yetunde Bankole-Bernard, couldn’t have chosen a better speaker for the launch of her latest project RECALL. Held at Eve, Victoria Island, Lagos, the exclusive event, which brought together friends and clients of the personal development and transformation expert, saw the guest speaker Olakunle Soriyan speak extempore on how everyone gets to a moment of ‘recall’ in their lives.

Soriyan, one of Nigeria’s leading transformation strategists traced his own dark history and concluded that but for providence, he would be a dead man. While emphasising that every human being becomes a victim of their environment and circumstance moments after their birth, he warned that an unlimited number of people never find a way to discover and hold their own until they die.

He spoke about the very awkward, even dangerous things he did at the university and how all of that resulted from the distrust and lack of affirmation of his upbringing, advising that anyone intent on making the best of their lives must at a point embark on a recall that would propel them into the future.

The guest speaker, who worked closely with Bankole-Bernard for about one year, seeing her deal with clients and listening to her recorded tools, assured anyone, who was not too satisfied with where they are or desiring to venture into new things to step forward, pick up materials on offer from the identity coach or seek consultation with her.

Multitalented Bankole-Bernard, who had the physical support of her husband, Mr Bankole Bernard, then stepped out to assure that ‘Recall’ does not suggest that people have lost their way, but recommends that every human being needs to attempt some reinvention at some point in their lives.

She explained that the idea is for people to believe in themselves, find themselves and put their potential to optimal use to the advantage of society. She then serenaded her audience with a newly released single with the title Free!

Co-written with Femi Jacobs, produced by Wilson Joel, the single suggests that accepting and believing in self is the ultimate freedom. The song is the soundtrack of the Recall Project, whose tools are designed to guide users in the creation of distinct expression of human gifting, providing support for eliminating phobia, anxiety and hesitation; assisting with building confidence, gaining acceptance, becoming more deeply connected with self and dealing with life’s transitions with greater ease, amongst others.
