Winners Emerge From LG-Dobox Giveaway Competition

Global leading home entertainment and consumer electronics, LG Electronics, has in partnership with leading online and mobile entertainment content provider, Dobox Media, have announced winners in the LG-Dobox Giveaway tagged #LGdoboxgiveaway campaign.

The online competition celebrates consumers’ knowledge of LG bodyguard home theatre system, LHD 675 and music flow bluetooth speaker NP7550. Participants from both social media platforms of LG and Dobox had opportunities of providing answers to questions asked across all platforms in which the first five correct answers were awarded 20 points each. The winners went away with the LG bodyguard home theatre systems as well as the recently introduced LG music flow bluetooth speakers alongside over N100, 000 worth of Dobox music and movie wallet top up.

Speaking on the competition, General Manager, Convergence Audio-Video Division, LG Electronics West Africa operations, Mr. Hyunseung Shin explain that the electronics giant is committed to providing its teeming consumers with first-rate products that meet their peculiar needs.

“Our responsive posture is what has endeared many to the LG brand; the LG Dobox Giveaways competition is another unique way through which we are delighting consumers as the winners get to win our iconic products – the LG music flow bluetooth speakers as well as the bodyguard home theatre system.”

He noted that all over the world, people connect more with music as it is known to lighten moods and enhance bonding, adding that the LG music flow P7 is a portable and handy music device that can be paired with two or more speakers.

“With a powerful battery that lasts up to nine hours, consumers are guaranteed uninterrupted fun even in the face of power outages or absence of power making it ideal for outdoor settings. With the LG music flow P7, users will also be able to experience dual-play, which enables them to play music from two separate devices,” he added.

Also commenting on the competition, CEO/Founder, Dobox Media Limited, Mr. Gafar Williams said: “In recent years through our excellent offerings we have been able to enrich the Nigerian home entertainment landscape with first rate products; as consumers interface with our brand they are able to access an amazing collection of premium cinema released movies, original series as well as indigenous films. The LG-Dobox Giveaways competition is another way through which we are putting smiles on people’s faces- giving back to society.”

According to him, the devices form their own dual-mesh private Wi-Fi network, and music flow traffic gets prioritised over users’ home network to provide a smooth playback experience, with virtually zero latency as music hands off from one speaker to another.

“Owing to the fact that each speaker has its own node built-in, music flow creates its own bridge between the app and the connected speakers. No other bridge devices are necessary to interconnect the speakers. This makes the network connections both easy and affordable.

To enter for the competition, participants were expected to like both LG and Dobox’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages after which they can proceed to play for a chance of winning. On the whole, contestants were expected to answer five questions correctly, garnering a maximum of 100 points. Competitors were required to post answers using #LGdoboxGiveaways as well as #walletID as these hashtags made for ease of monitoring; they were also required to create an account on the official Dobox website www.dobox.tv . The competition which began in September will end this October.
