Why Dakore Akande spotted dreadlocks for 13 years

Unknown to many Nollywood actress, Dakore Akande, spotted her deadlocks for 13 years, avoiding other hairdo just to give her identification in the fashion and the Nollywood industry.

The fabulous dreadlocks gave her a distinct and unique look and was one of the many things her fans admired about her until she recently ditched it for another hairdo. The actress who rocked the dreadlocks up, until her January 2011 wedding, did the big chop, not long after.

In a recent chat, the gorgeous mother, whose style had evolved over the years, revealed where she keeps her famous dreadlocks.

Akande in her words said: ”I was bored. I had it for 13 years and as women, we love to change our hair. We like to be adventurous and I was a little bit stifled. I coloured it, cut it short, and then grew it really long. So I just felt it was time to lose it. It wasn’t really a big deal, though.
