Weirdz joins Bail Music, drops Let Us Pray

With passion to make a difference in the music industry with his ‘weird’ thoughts, Edo born Osazee Moses Wilserhun, who goes by the stage name, Weirdz is poised to bring relevance with his style of music through his prolific wordplay and deep lyrics

Signed to Bail Music, the film production graduate has released an extended play (EP) titled Let us Pray. The EP he said, describes what he stands for as he is allowed to relate with his environment and pass a message. 

According to the pop and reggae artiste, “Music for me is heartfelt; there is more self expression and I get to talk about things that are personal to me. I don’t want to do any kind of music that is out there now; I want to remain relevant beyond when I am gone.  I want my music to always have a message.”

He explained that he is inspired by what he sees around and hopes to be a voice with his music. “Look at what is happening in Libya now, and the xenophobia attacks that happened in South Africa, these oppression and racism has to stop, that is the kind of message I am sent to bring to world,” he added.

He further explained that raggae legend and Send Down the Rain crooner, Majek Fashek, Bob Marley, Lucky Dube, Tuface and Asa are his role models for bringing timeless music and affecting lives ends society with their lyrics. 

On his choice of Bail Music, Weirdz said, “I feel it is important for an artiste to entrust his management to a brand that has keen understanding of the industry and have successfully show its impact while working with other established stars.”

CEO of The Bail Music Company, Lanre Lawal who is delighted to sign a deal with Weirdz says that the new move is in the right direction towards achieving their dream as a brand at the forefront of providing needed support to help talents succeed in the highly demanding industry. Presently, the company manages Brymo and Weirdz.
