UK Returnee, Tyson Noir Turn It Up

Born Oluwatosin Oki, but known by the stage moniker, Tyson Noir, is a Nigerian-UK returned singer and songwriter.

Though unsigned to any record label, he has put out a couple of singles and released an EP titled, Dreaming In colour. The fast rising act has always had passion for music.

After discovering he could sing while in the university, he has been honing his skills as a vocalist and a songwriter, and draw musical inspiration from acts like Sam Cooke, Michael Jackson, Asa, Wande Coal, Frank Ocean, James Fauntleroy, and Florence Welch among others.

While in the university, he performed in major open mic shows, charity concerts and the Underground in Zamunda, and had the opportunity to open a gig that had major Nigerian acts including Eldee, Wande Coal and Ikechukwu on the performance list.

An indigene of Lagos Island, Noir upon completion of his LLB and M.Sc in International Business Law, returned home in October 2013, and has since settled into the Nigerian music industry.

With weekly performances at Bogobiri and Ember Creek both in Lagos, and the release of his single Hollywood Girl, produced by Starboy Entertainment’s Maleek Berry, Mercy, produced by Sarz, as well as the remix, featuring the Alaga Ibile, Reminisce, the singer has proven to be an emerging force to reckon with in the music industry.

Presently working on couple of singles with Starboy Entertainment’s Legendary beats, Maleek Berry and fast rising producer, TMXO. His new single, Turn It Up, produced by Legendury Beatz features LAX, is a club banger.

With a nationwide tour and a UK tour scheduled within the year, Noir is ready to take his music to the next level in Nigeria and the UK.
