Having treated other cities such as Lagos, Port Harcourt, Benin and Umuahia with the best of his music during the yearly global music tour tagged Sammie Okposo Praise Party (SOPP), the Welu Welu crooner is set to hit the Federal Capital for yet another groundbreaking concert.

Billed for July 12, 2015, at the Transforming Church, the Abuja concert will feature other top gospel artistes and talented comedians, who will spice the evening with jaw breaking jokes.

The 2015 edition of the SOPP Global Tour started in Lagos on May 1st, 2015 at the Grace Gardens Events Center, with large turn out from large music lovers across the state. The retinue of artistes that performed at the Lagos concert was quite intimidating as many of them stormed the venue to lend their support to the concert.

The train later moved to Benin where it wowed residents of the ancient city with their outstanding performances by notable Nigerian gospel singers. A sold out concert, the Benin concert, which was staged at CGMI Unusual Conference Center, paraded the likes of Buchi, Eben, Efe Nathan, Tim Godfrey, Victor Atenega, Nikki Laoye, Anny and others.

It was the turn of the city of Port-Harcourt on June 14, 2015 at the Kings Assembly, with the likes of Nikki Laoye, Nosa, Tim Godfrey, Nathan, Afy Douglas, Preye Odede, Mercy Chinwo, Dan D Humorous and many others on parade. Umuahia, the Abia State capital, experience mind blowing live performances on June 21, 2015. The inspiring and amazing concert, which held at the Stream of Joy International, was particularly spectacular as the main auditorium and the overflows couldn’t contain the fans and music lovers that came out for the concert.

The SOPP Global Tour is currently the most talked concert among the gospel community and the organisers have kick started plans for the annual Europe and America SOPP Global Tour.
