According to the dark-skinned and fashionista talent, her debut single, which also has an official video, is an energetic up-tempo Afro-Pop song produced by British Sierra-Leonean, Delerious.

“One For Me, is about a girl who has not found the right guy for her and then finally meets the man of her dreams.” The Afro-Pop and Rap music artiste says her music is inspired by her life experiences and other people’s experiences. “I am extremely grateful for being able to travel, as this has helped broaden my horizon.”

Having grown up knowing different genre of music, she says she knew about melodies, singing rhythm and song structure from a very young age. “Rapping is my forte and what I do best. Many people might not know this, but when I was in Secondary School I actually wanted to be an athlete, but then my love for performing came and strongly pushed that desire away.”

She also noted that she is influenced to do music having seen the process of talented musicians and artiste have an idea and then turn that great idea into a song and perform over the world, “it was exciting and inspiring.”

June added, “I’m happy and proud of my culture and it is amazing to see African music being played all over the world.”
