AS the reality show, Malta Guinness Game On gradually draw its curtain, this week’s episode of the show have both Team Fashion and Team Football left with four members apiece, and they strove to determine who would come out on top in the engaging series powered by Malta Guinness to fuel the rise of the Naija passion.

The contestants were challenged to uplift their community and show that passion can also impact on one’s environment. For Team Fashion, the task was to refurbish a boutique, design and create ready-to-wear clothes as well as organise a runway show to showcase the designs. While Team Football on the other hand, was divided into pairs and challenged to costume and coach two teams of amateur footballers into more disciplined sides as well as upgrade a football facility within the community.

Team Fashion got to work together with the side’s captain, Lanre Da-Silva Ajayi, putting out eclectic designs that became the framework for magnificent dresses. They were assisted by some tailors from the community as well as models to showcase their designs.

Daniel Amokachi led team football to work on giving the Razak Balogun pitch in Surulere a makeover and organised two sides that played an enthralling match with the players energised by the goodness that only Malta Guinness brings. The match ended 1-1.

Football fans, fashion lovers and other members of the Surulere community who turned out to watch both the runway show and the football match voted for the winner – but this time, it was a tie!

“The work both teams put in was so impressive and we are glad no one had to go home at this stage. Your enthusiasm is so infectious!” said Da Silva who was happy with the work her team put in.

The question is, which passion best fuel the rise of Naija, Fashion or Football? Have your say and vote for your passion as all eight contestants go into next week’s grand finale with the chance of winning the fabulous prizes Malta Guinness has set aside for the winner.

The show airs Sundays on AIT and Spice TV 5-6pm. NTA 4.30 -5.30pm, and a repeat broadcasts on ONTV, on Thursday 6.30 – 7.30 pm and Sound City on Saturdays 7-8pm.
