IT was one of such moments that just occur and life appears to have a spark all over again. It happened right there on the stage, a chemistry that tingled everyone who watched the last episode of episode 3 of Coke Studio 3, as talented Nigerian crooner Flavour and Ugandan Songbird, Juliana Kanyomozi, brought a new meaning to the MashUp experience.

Although, the duo’s performance was the last on the show, Flavour and Juliana rendered a new song, which Flavour said took him just few minutes to write, and Juliana advised was best listened to with a partner.

Without doubt, both musicians came on stage switched on, delivering a skillful performance that enhanced their perfectly complementing vocal pairing, and heightening the chemistry of their absolutely amazing performance that pushed the boundaries to what is known as excellent. The producer, MasterKraft, could be seen behind as they performed nodding his head in delight.

Generally, Episode 3 offered layers of excitement and surprise, which has become synonymous with Coke Studio, with Mozambique’s G2 and Uganda’s Navio kneading the club banger, “One & Only Music” produced by Kenya’s talented producer, Jaaz Odongo.

Amazing MI and Avril connected like a socket to a plug, both wearing white, gave sparkling a performance of Nikimuona/Bad Belle produced by hugely talented award-winning producer, Cobhams. And just because Coke Studio is full of surprises, there was a surprise guest.

2Face Idibia and Vanessa Mdee also enjoyed the beautiful skills of music producer, Cobhams, as he recreated two songs, spun it into one that raises hairs: African Queen/Nobody but me. It was so unique, even 2face owned up to getting “goose-bumps” from just listening to it. The artistes, donning black hats, accompanied the impressive performance with an infectious chemistry.

The Unknown DJ brought his enigma into the Mash Up between Elani and Chidinma, he equaled their stylish African Print with a staple flow of African rhythm to produce Milele/Africa.

Episode 4 had Afro Di’ja joining Hernani Da Silva’, and Alikiba and Victoria Kimani, MAMA Awards Diva, Yemi Alade pairing with Kenya’s Gengen King, Jua Kali, with Ice Prince and Dema Du Bling.
