Finally, Jimmy Jatt Drops Onile Video

Frontline Nigerian DJ, cool DJ Jimmy Jatt has released the highly anticipated video for his certified street banger, Onile featuring rap veteran Eedris Abdulkareem and producer Vtek.

Directed by OMG, the video, which was shot in the buzzing city of Lagos, reaffirms Jimmy’s allegiance to the streets, with mentions of popular spots in the city such as CMS, Obalende, Anthony and othes.

The video interprets the song title Onile, which means “landlord”, and shows Jimmy Jatt, Eedris Abdulkareem and Vtek rocking Jimmy Jatt signature branded snap backs in the beautiful city of Lagos.

Jimmy Adewale Amu, popularly known as Cool Dj Jimmy Jatt is a renowned Disc Jockey who is known for setting the pace for Hip hop music in the country and beyond. An icon in the Nigerian entertainment industry, he has helped nurture many deejays whom are Dj Waxxy, Dj Syl-D, Dj Funky J, Mix Master Tee, Dj Osar, Dj Hotega, Dj Tony Blaise, Dj XGee n others.

His first single Stylee, featuring Tu Face Idibia, Mode 9 and Elajoe was a hit and enjoyed massive airplay. Particularly, the video for the song stayed on the MTV Africa countdown for weeks. This earned him several awards like Channel O Africa Music Video Award, Hip hop World Award, SoundCity Music Video Award, Nigerian Music Video Award and Nigerian Music Award nominations.

He has two albums The Definition and The Industry Vol 1, which are mixtapes featuring over 50 of Nigerian’s best artistes and has a T.V programme, Jimmy’s Jump Off, currently airing on local and international stations.
