Bull Fuji Talent Hunt Season 3 Unveiled
Following the successes recorded in the past two editions of Bull Fuji Talent Hunt, sponsors of the programme, Intercontinental Distillers Limited (IDL), has concluded plans for the smooth take-off of the third edition tagged, Bull Fuji Talent Hunt Season 3.
At a media briefing held at Jogor Centre, Liberty Road, Ibadan, Oyo State, organisers of the hunt said auditions would hold in five states in the Southwest part of the country, namely Oyo, Osun, Ondo, Ogun and Kwara States respectively The graced by IDL’s Head of Marketing, Mr. Mobolaji Alalade; Brand Manager (Bull Brands) Mr. Zekeri Dokpesi; Sales Operations Manager (West 2) Mr. Kunle Sereki; Sales Operations Manager (West 1) Mr. Isaac Agbana; Chief Operating Officer, Kingsize Entertainment, Mr. Lanre Alabi; and winner of Season 2, Idriss Akanbi a.k.a. Aloma.
Packaged by the Kingsize Entertainment, the talent hunt is expected to kick-off in Ibadan on Sunday April 19, at KS Motel, Total Garden, Ibadan; then the next port of call is Ijebu-Ode, on Sunday, April 26, at Ijebu-Ode Club, Stadium Road, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.
Abeokuta will host on Sunday, May 3, Osogbo on Sunday, May 10, at Osogbo City Hall, Osogbo; while Akure, on Sunday May 17, at Cultural Centre, Akure, and Ilorin on Sunday May 24, at Cultural Centre, Garin Alimi Road, Ilorin, Kwara State.
The organisers explained that as usual, the zonal competitions would produce two representatives each (a winner and first runner-up), while 12 finalists will slug it out at Jogor Centre, Ibadan, Oyo State on Sunday, June 14, adding that all zonal shows and the grand finale are afternoon concerts ending by 10pm.
The grand finale winner will get N300,000, a recording contract and Bull brands Ambassador for one-year, and a keyboard.
The first runner up, will go home with N200,000, a keyboard and Bull drinks; while the second runner-up (third place position) will get N100,000, a saxophone and Bull brands drinks. Also, there will be consolation prizes for the remaining nine contestants.
According to the Chief Operating Officer, Kingsize Entertainment, Lanre Alabi, “Bull Fuji Talent Hunt has become household name among upcoming and established fuji artistes, because it is a trailblazer among other talent hunts.
We introduce new idea and creativity, thus creating excitement around the Bull brands, Fuji talents and in cities where we go yearly,” he said.
He added, “the two discovered budding Fuji artistes during Season 1 and 2, Nurudeen Atanda aka Antenna and Idriss Akanbi (Aloma) are doing well in the music industry, since they came on board via Bull Fuji Talent Hunt competitions.
They are non-push-overs, as the duo has proved that Bull Fuji Talent Hunt, is a platform to showcase talent, discovered talent, and bring them into limelight.”
