To provide quality transport services for everyday shopping trip, business meeting, social events, and religious activities, tuletaxi has been introduced to the public in Lagos.

Tule is the latest entrant to the Nigeria online cab request service sector. The firm is headquartered in Texas, USA. Tuletaxi is a mobile app for transportation that uses innovation and technology to transform the vehicle booking process and improve the passenger and driver experience as well as connects clients to safe, reliable rides from professional drivers across Nigeria.

Speaking on the product, the Chief Executive Officer of the company, Mr. Tonye Briggs said the initiative is designed for clients who seek taxi anywhere in Lagos from their comfort zone at a reasonable cost without compromising safety, security and right at the nick of time.

Mr. Briggs stated that Tule has introduced  series of value propositions that have to hit home quickly among consumers, given the increase in competition in the market adding that it has an SMS enabled function that is interfaced with its call centre where registered users can schedule a ride without the use of internet.

“Our application also has a points-based customer loyalty program called TuleMiles, which rewards frequent fliers with points for every kilometer travelled and later redeemed for free rides and discounts from their partners. Tule Corporate is a service that enables organisations and its employees to use our service at a discounted cost using an allocated corporate coupon”.

According to him, the philosophy is built on picking customers at the RIGHT Time, taking them to the RIGHT Place for the RIGHT Price. He added that the company also strives to provide fair pricing for riders and clients, transparent policies for drivers, and awesome customer support schemes.

Head of IT of the firm, Mr.  Idowu James said individuals who are interested in becoming driver partners for Tule can contact the company while users can download the App ‘Tule Taxi’ now on Google play.

On safety of customers, he informed that the website is designed in such a way that clients who are at risk or uncomfortable with their driver could send a trigger to the company without the drivers’ knowledge. He also stated that there is a partnership with various security agencies for safety of clients and properties in case of vehicle breakdown on the highways.

“Anyone who downloads the application available on Android and iOS and uses it before May 1 stands to win fantastic prizes. To ensure a wide customer segment that would translate to more revenue for partners and drivers, Tule offers customers ride options based on their budget. These are Basic, Classic, Premium and Premium+. At Tule your safety is our priority so all our drivers go through a rigorous screening process. “
