The Hi-Impact Planet Amusement Park, Ibafo, Ogun State, was agog recently, as Solution Media celebrated a decade in operation. Notable among dignitaries at the well attended party include former governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, who chaored the event; Ogun State Commissioner for Tourism, Mr Taiwo Oluwatoyin; Ogun State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Afolabi Afuwape; former Speaker Ogun State House of Assembly, Mrs Titi Oseni Gomez, and others.

Addressing the gathering, Managing Director, Solution Media and Infotech, Adeyeloye Lipede, said: “I remember that day that my brother Prince Adeyanju Lipede (Chairman & CEO Solution Media) and I sat down to discuss what we can do differently. By the grace of God Almighty and like a mustard seed planted that has germinated into a big tree, the discussions and shared dream of that day has brow and given birth to Hi-impacts Rigging, a foremost company in sound, stage and lights, Hi-Impact Planet Amusement Park & Resort, Nigeria’s biggest Amusement Park and the biggest in the whole of Black Africa, Hi-Impact Television, the first and yet the only fully High Definition Television in Nigeria, Hi-Impact Cruise, which is also the biggest Commercial Cruise Ship in Nigeria which was launched on October, 1, 2020.

“I make bold to say that the services we render in all of our companies are comparable to anywhere in the world. We deliberately exposed our staff to trainings in countries where the industry best practices are available.”

He further informed, “In the course of our ten years of existence, we have flown the Nigerian flag both in United Arab Emirates (UAE) and in the UK, where great artistes of both Nigerian and African descends performed to the admiration of all in world musical concerts.

“in 2013 and 2014, we organised an event tagged Hl-Impact For Creative Kids wherein kids in Ogun and Lagos states numbering about six thousand, from both private and public primary and secondary schools were hosted under our big and winners at these events were rewarded and as a matter of fact, the school that came first had the rare opportunity of travelling outside Nigeria.

“For us, it is not yet an Eldorado; we are not unmindful of the business climate in the country, but we are confident and hopeful that with the right attitude and determination the future looks bright. So, at ten, calling on our friends to join us to thank God is a thing we feel we should do.”

In his remarks, Gbenga Daniel said: “We had a challenge those days and we felt that part of what we need to do change the colour of the political participants and call all Adeyanju. It is very unusual to have a very successful politician, but we did everything to convince him to be our governor, but he declined; I wasn’t happy, I must confess. I went to look for him in Ilupeju; I sat him down, but he wouldn’t budge and someone told me that the only person who can convince him is his brother. I went to look for his brother, but that was even worse. “But I am excited today because he has proven all sceptics wrong and he has proven to everyone that even though he did well in government, he could do better in private sector and that’s why we are here today. This is Nigeria Disneyland and everything is working perfectly.”
