Hospitality industry heralds BCE Foodservice

It was a gathering of stakeholders in the hospitality industry in Lagos, as BCE Foodservice Equipment recently opened its first store in the country. The opening, which also witnessed the official launch of company’s Demonstration Kitchen, is BCE’s response to the yearnings of culinary experts, hoteliers and restaurants in the country for quality foodservice equipment.

For guests, especially the hoteliers, the event was an opportunity to watch the company’s in-house chefs make use of some of the equipment on display in preparing dishes. Even as they showcased their culinary prowess with different recipes, the chefs took time out to enlighten guests on how to make the best use of the equipment to achieve customers’ satisfaction.

In a chat with the chairman of the company prince Toye Oyinlola, he informed that the launch, which featured a display of different sets of catering utensils, industrial kitchen equipment for home and commercial uses, is targeted at helping hoteliers and restaurant access worldclass kitchen equipment.

“BCE Food service equipment which response to the needs of all classes of clientele without jeopardising the competitive value of maintaining brand quality of our products. Our standards, in terms of products satisfaction, cannot be compromised because of the track record we have sustained for years.”

According to the General Manager of BCE Greg Snalam, “In Africa, and indeed the world, we are known for a most impressive culinary collection across premium brands. For years, we have been the leading suppliers of kitchen utensils, industrial cookware, commercial kitchens and appliances to both the hospitality and foodservice industries in Africa. Coming to Nigeria was only a matter of time, as we all know the place of this wonderful country in the comity of nations. We are here to deliver the very best of services and products to both commercial and private homes,” he said.

On the Demo Kitchen, he said, “it has been kitted out to accommodate the cooking and refrigeration equipment of ours generally used within hotels/QSR kitchen setup and is ready for use. The kitchen is ready and freely available for the use of any of our existing clients and prospective ones, who may wish to test new recipes off-site or test new dish varieties they don’t want to expose to anyone else prior to launching the menu; we will gladly make our equipment available for this purpose at any stage during the week,” he said.

While talking the media on a tour of the showroom, Snalam revealed that the organization in on the verge of introducing clients’ days, whereby guests would be invited to join the management for product detailing, new product launches and to watch equipment in full use.

“We want to constantly connect with the people and such event will give our clients the opportunity to update themselves with the latest equipment, as well as learn from our experienced chefs,” he said.
