Secures Partnership With The Guardian

All is set for the launching of the first ever tourism mobile application in Nigeria, Enjoy Lagos, which is billed for December 23, 2017. However, the app will be available in all play stores and apple stores starting from the December 1.

The CEO, Enjoy Africa Discounts and Tours Ltd and the founder of the Enjoy Lagos mobile app, Iyadi Grizi, made the announcement yesterday, during the press briefing in Lagos.

The app aims at stimulating the local and national economy, while offering discount to shoppers, organising private tours, booking flights and honeymoon packages; nearest ATM, emergency points for tourists and indigenes of Lagos state.

According to Grizi, “the mobile application is in four categories; Deals and offers, Lagos Tours, Lagos State and Enjoy Lagos. All of this will feature millions of businesses and retailers in Lagos and Africa.”

He added that the application would be Location enabled to tell the users where and how much discount the retailers in that location are offering.

Enjoy Lagos would also make quarterly publication of its Enjoy Lagos Coupon Book to increase awareness and brand loyalty. Already, the second edition of the coupon is out and distributed around airports, embassies, over 300 merchants locations in Lagos and would last till 14th of February 2018.

To ensure connection with Lagosians and Nigerians at large, Enjoy Lagos has entered into partnership with The Guardian Nigeria. This partnership would bring invaluable exposure to the businesses enlisted on the quarterly publication of Enjoy Lagos Coupon book, and also published on the Guardian digital platform.

“With one million daily print readers, and a reach to diverse and influential audience in Nigeria and globally, The Guardian is the most trusted newspaper in Nigeria to connect the brand to the right audience,” Grizi added.

Meanwhile, Vconnect and United Bank for Africa (UBA) will also partner the app with support from the Lagos State government and the Federal Government Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation (NTDC).

According to the Business Partnership Consultant for Vconnect, Ayeni Oluwaremilekun, “businesses listed on the coupon book would automatically be listed on Vconnect, with lists of over 1.2million businesses and attract 13million visitors every year.”

Enjoy Lagos would be the first ever-mobile application in Nigeria to be active first in Lagos, but with strategic plans to spread throughout the country and even grow beyond Africa.
