Three days of magic at first ever LBFW 2018

The Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, over the weekend played host to the most talked about event in recent times, the Lagos Bridal Fashion Weekend (LBFW).

The Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, over the weekend played host to the most talked about event in recent times, the Lagos Bridal Fashion Weekend (LBFW).

Featuring three days of magic, Call Her Classic brought together under one roof, the movers and shakers of the bridal fashion industry to showcase all things bridal in Nigeria and it was not a disappointment.

The unique bridal fashion weekend showcased the very best in unisex wedding dress designs presented in both native and formal wears. Featuring amazing master classes with top bridal designers such as Hudayya, Yemi Kosibah, Mai Atafo and others, there were also bridal consultation rooms, where brides-to-be interacted and planned with designers of their choice. They asked questions and learnt from the very best in the industry. There was also runway showings from over 40 established and upcoming designers who showed off their best works.

Day 1 had names like Andrea Iyamah, April by Kunbi, Mai Atafo, Bridals by Ivy, Elizabeth and Lace Bridal, Shadiat Alaasoke, Poosh Bespoke amongst others who wowed the audience with their unique collections.

Day 2 featured designers such as David Tlale, Brides by Nona, Patrick Anyaski, Imad Eduso amongst others while on the final day, the big guns showed off the very best in bridal fashion. Toju Foyeh upped the ante with her new collection, while Hudayya and Kosibah sent brides to be into frenzy with the beautiful pieces on display.

Notable faces at the well-attended event include Ogun State Governor Ibikunle Amosun, Dele Momodu and SSA to the President on Foreign Relations and Diaspora, Abike Dabiri amongst others.
