You know what they say about twins: twice as nice! The spotlight this time is on these pretty and famous sets of twins who live in the Nollywood spotlight and who are the most recognisable twin sibs in the industry.

Hassana And Hussaina Musa Abdullahi
Born and raised in Kano, Hassana and Hussaina Musa Abdullahi are Kannywood’s most celebrated identical twins.

Popular in Kannywood as Mairon Kauye and Mizani, Hassana ad Hussaina both joined the industry a little near a decade ago and have been having a good run in the movie since they took a decision to light up the acting skies with their talents.

Both high school graduates, with Hussaina graduating from the Kano State School of Hygiene and Hassana from Aminu Kano College of Islamic and Legal Studies, the twins have featured in over 40 home movies in Hausa language, including Rikita-Rikita, Duk Mace Macece, Fitsarin Fako, Ibro Dan Karota and Garba Gurmi Sabon Dan Tijjara.

Currently in relationships, but with folks outside the industry, the twins revealled that most times, directors find it difficult to differentiate them.

They have plans to settle down in no distant future and to play a long game in the industry.

Chidinma And Chidiebere Aneke
Both of them born in Enugu, Chidinma and Chidiebere Aneke are perhaps one of the busiest identical twins working in Nollywood.

Since joining the industry in 2004, they have been lighting up the acting skies with their talent.

Gifted and talented, the Aneke twins, as colleagues and close friends popularly call them, walked into limelight as twins on the turf when they featured in the 1999 commercially successful movie, Ebuka.

They returned to school shortly after the movie was released to further their education and returned in 2003 and since then, they have not looked back.

Both products of the Winner’s Chapel discipleship project, known as WFOB, a bible school, the Aneke twins, who have ventured into the production of movies, have featured in over 60 Nollywood movies and still counting.

In their credit pouch are movies, such as Twins Saga, Twist of Love, Distrust, Sisters Act and Who is Who.

Trasy And Treasure Daniel
Trasy and Treasure Daniel have been making impact in Nollywood since they joined a couple of years back.

The identical twins, who also go by the name, Onyi and Amaka, joined the industry from senior secondary school and upon completion, delved into the industry headlong.

Both members of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) since 2002, Onyi and Amaka, who are born to Rev. and Evangelist Felicia and Daniel Nwokike Idenyi, have featured in over 30 movies and have shot a couple more that are at various stages of production.

To their credit productions, such as Divine Twins, Love and Cash, Beloved Twins and Unknown Caller.

Proprietors of Twins Saloon in Oniru area of Lagos, Onyi and Amaka named their parents as their lead mentors and the likes of Joke Silva Jacobs, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde and Mitchell Obama as their role models.

“These are successful career women holding their homes together. It is not something that is common and twins admire that so much,” Onyi enthused.
