The Unofficial Christmas Party returns December 14

The Unofficial Christmas Party is back for the 5th year in a row, and it’s bigger than ever. Every year this shared corporate Christmas party brings together titans of industry, celebrities, friends and colleagues to celebrate the year and end it in style.

After the inaugural edition, The Unofficial Christmas Party has thrilled guests after with themes like 007, Owambe! and last year’s epic #PartyinWhite. Each year is an opportunity for teams to celebrate their end-of-year with colleagues, clients and friends.

What happens at the party? The Unofficial Christmas Party is split into two parts, the dinner and the after-party. The Dinner gives teams the opportunity to share a delectable four-course meal, as well as make memories in various team activities including the annually anticipated Lip Synch Battle. Other activities include the employee of the year awards and the always-comical CEO Challenge, which in the past has included a gele tying contest and a national anthem sing-off. The dinner is swiftly followed by the after-party, often the highlight of the event. The night has featured guest performers like Banky W, Shina Peters, Adekunle Gold and, most recently, Tiwa Savage.

To mark its landmark fifth year, The Party returns on December 14 with a fun twist on a familiar theme- Studio 54.

According to the organisers: “This year, we are bringing back the 70s with a touch of Retro. Disco. Glam. The familiar, with a glamorous twist. #PartyatStudio54 is a nod to the famous nightclub of the 70’s, Studio 54, once known for throwing the best parties in the world.

“The nightclub was also a unique gathering of the most famous party people on the planet. This year, the Unofficial Christmas Party is bringing the Studio 54 vibe to Lagos. And the retro disco glam that came with the 70s has so much to pull from. The Party is pulling out all the stops. From the luxurious, flashing-lights of a lavish red carpet to an after-party that will feel like you stepped into a time machine.

“The party is a unique opportunity for team leads to celebrate their team with grand style. It is for anyone who wants to celebrate their clients and/or team in grand style. The event holds December 14, 2018 at the Landmark Event Centre from 6:00pm till late.
