After what made be considered an eventful year in 2018, rave of the moment and Case singer Teniola Apata, widely known as Teni Entertainer/Teni Makanaki yesterday embarked on her first official tour.

Tagged TENI LIVE, the tour kicked off yesterday at the Quantum Event Center in Birmingham, United Kingdom s expected to help her take her music career to the next level.

According to the schedule, she will today be performing at the Viva Nightclub, Manchester, and tomorrow lock it down in London, while she will be at the Pryzm Nightclub, Portsmouth on Wednesday, February 27.

Other cities the Uyo Meyo singer will be performing include, Cyprus (March 29), Romania (March 30), and Turkey (March 31). From April 5 — 7, she will be in Bulgaria, Poland, and Belgium respectively. She will return home to thrill her fans in Lagos on Thursday, April 18.

She capped the tour in Canada, beginning with Windsor on Friday, April 26, before proceeding to Toronto on April 27.

Ottawa will play host to her on May 3, while Montreal, Victoria, Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary and Winnipeg will have a feel of her music live on stage from May 4 to 19

The songwriter had earlier shared the news of the tour and the cities she will be performing on her instagram handle @tenientertainer. “I’m going on tour baby!!!! TeniLive – This tour is coming to a city near you,” she wrote.

Teni, who could not hide her excitement, said the adventure is in line with her vision of taking her music career to the four corners of the world. Teni broke into limelight with her first single, Fargin (2017) and followed up the success with hit singles including Askamaya, Case and Uyo Meyo.

2018 was indeed an exciting year for her, as she dropped several catchy singles that earned her laurels including, Headies ‘Rookie of the Year’ award.

She was also one of the biggest winners at the Soundcity Music Video Awards (SMVA), where she walked away with the ‘Best New Artist’ award. She also won the ‘Most Promising Act’ to watch at the Nigerian Entertainment Award.

Although Teni is signed to the Nigerian producer Shizzi’s record label, she releases her music through the Atlanta and Nigeria-based Dr Dolor Entertainment.
