SuperBlacHomes boss Barbara Nwaokolo reveals she is in a relationship

…Says she is not cut out to be alone after breakup with Timaya

Barbara Fumnanya Nwaokolo, the CEO of SuperBlacHomes, says she has moved on with her life after severing ties with Nigerian music superstar Timaya.

The mother of two, in an interview with The Guardian, said that she is not meant to be alone just because of her failed relationship with the self-acclaimed Egberi Papa I of Bayelsa.

“God forbid! I am not cut out to be alone. I am in a relationship, a serious one at that. He is a guy in the United Kingdom, a single dad as well. He is name is Uche, an Igbo guy too, so we are good actually. He has love for real estate; I think that’s what brought us this far,” the founder of SuperBlacHomes said of her new man.

Pressed to paint a picture of their love life, she continued: “We talk a lot, we talk about basically everything. ‘I am grateful to God I met you’ is what he tells me all the time. We are looking to do something really big very soon, Jah willing.

“We are dating and he is very understanding and that is why I like him. I am stubborn and I don’t need a stubborn person. He is someone who listens, an ice to my fire. When I am doing my drama, he just looks at me and says, ‘Nwokolo calm down, what is the problem?’

“I am not perfect and when I do things, he doesn’t react; he just keeps quiet. A day or two days after, he goes on to tell me I need to talk to you about something and I am like what again did I do because I can’t remember doing anything.  I just like his maturity, he is not perfect and I think that is what is keeping us; his maturity.

“He loves my kids a lot. He just wants to know everything that is going on. Even when I am mad he has a way of calming me down. He is the ice to my fire,” added the CEO of SuperBlacHomes.

“My man is a wonderful person. I know he will be shocked if he ever stumbles on this article because I never mention how lovely he is. You know how guys are, especially when you tell them that they are sweet. But trust me when I say he is a wonderful person.

For the business magnate, marriage is a beautiful thing she would like to jump into.

“A lot of women get into marriage because they want to be comfortable, want to have kids. I have kids and I am comfortable. So right now, if I have to get into marriage it has to be worth it because I am not leaving the marriage if I get married,” she said.

“My own marriage must work and that is why I am not in a hurry because with what I am seeing now on the internet, marriages breaking here and there, it’s really worrisome. I keep telling him, if I have to get married, no matter what happens, I am not breaking up because I can’t handle it, I am very emotional.

“Even when I broke up with my children’s father, it took me a while to get over him. So I keep telling my boyfriend, this marriage of a thing, if I enter I no dey comot o. If you say you don tire, you go travel go, come back come meet us. I am like yes, our parents made it work,” stressed the CEO of SuperBlacHomes.
