The boss of Club Quilox, Shina Peller, son of the late Prof Peller, the famed magician, Shina, has been charting his own path, even though he has learned a lot from his father and lived by his example.

Sources confirmed that Shina, popular socialite and Chairman of Aquilla Group, is currently under intense pressure by his people of Oyo State, particularly his constituency, to run for a political office in the 2019 general elections.

A source in the state’s political circles, who craved anonymity, disclosed that it was time the people of the state got a youth and innovative mind in government for the overall development of the state.

Shina, who was recently a guest of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), confirmed the pressure, saying he was being wooed to take advantage of his popularity and influence in the state to run for a political office, but he was yet to make up his mind.

He stressed: “For now, my business is my priority. Although I have been receiving pressures from people from every corner to get involved in politics, but I am yet to make up my mind.”

While the Iseyin-born philanthropist also spoke on his journey to popularity: “My popularity didn’t just start today; it was borne out of my zeal to do everything I can in whatever capacity to assist people and encourage younger ones, even from my days as a student at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in Ogbomoso.”
