Route A, one of Nigeria’s rising social initiative focused on youth empowerment, are still very much committed to engaging and empowering youths. The initiative which is focused on inspiring young Nigerians to be high achievers in their chosen paths, launched its first-ever ‘Incubator session’. This training was aimed at creating a platform for young and influential industry experts to help build the capacity of younger industry professionals.

The first-ever session which was hosted by CEO, Founder, Olorisupergal, Tosin Ajibade, tagged ‘A Masterclass on Digital Marketing’ brought together over 20 knowledge seeking youths who were eager to tap from her understanding and experience in Digital Marketing.

The media mogul and renowned digital marketing professional shared her wealth of knowledge and experiences in: creating strategies for building successful digital media platforms, building and expanding online engagement as well as business and client management in digital marketing.

Speaking on her passion for empowering youths, Ajibade said “I am always excited to see young people who want to explore fulltime careers in influencer/digital marketing, and I am excited to share my knowledge and experiences with the next generation through this platform”.

Still on its mission on ‘A January to Be Empowered’, the Route A initiative also organized its first-ever ‘Peer-to-Peer’ session, aimed at providing a platform for young Nigerians who have made significant progress in their chosen career paths, to share their knowledge and experiences with their peers.

The first-ever session which also brought together over 25 youths, and focused on Photography and Film-making, was hosted by the young and talented photographer, Nora Awolowo (Founder, Rixel Studios), and her young creative colleagues including: Barnabas Emordi, Ibikunle Ibitayo, Folajimi Theophilus, Diji Aderogba and Lola.

The Route A initiative continues to remain dedicated to its mission of building the next generation of mentally and economically sound youths who are shaping a new Nigeria. “We will continue to develop and implement strategic initiatives that will keep Nigerian youths engaged positively, empowered with tools for success, and connected to opportunities that will facilitate the achievement of a productive future” said Nike Fagbule (Founder, Route A initiative) at one of the sessions facilitating its vision to ensure ‘a January for Youth Empowerment’.
