Quiet birthday bash for Imo deputy governor Madumere at 52
Imo State Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere, has just clocked 51. And to celebrate the day, the handsome Igbo prince gathered a few friends, family and several associates last Saturday to mark the day.
Prince Madumere is truly the new face of what political office holders should be – displaying dignity, integrity, service to the people, sacrifice, humility, kindness and love towards the people on whose mandate the privileges attached to the office he is occupying today came from.
His relationship with Governor Rochas Okorocha culminated in his becoming the Chief of Staff to the Governor in 2011 when Okorocha won the election to become Governor of Imo State. He subsequently became the substantive Deputy Governor with the clearance of the House of Assembly when the former Deputy Governor was impeached and his name was submitted to the house by the Governor to be his deputy.
His impressive contribution in the first term of the governor has again earned him his present position as second man in the state, the reason he needed to celebrate.
