PITA unveils new gospel music
Peter Linus, also known by stage name as PITA (Praise In This Age), has launched a new album entitled As I Am.
PITA began his musical career at the Upper Room Missions Church, Lagos, where he sang in children’s choir.
He later formed a gospel acapella group with friends by the name ‘Baby’s heart’. The band comprised of a six-man band that captivated the hearts of their audience, without compromising the message of cross.
He has made over 1,000 live appearances on shows/events as well as radio stations across the country. He has also collaborated with some renowned gospel artistes including Segun Obe, Olufunmi and Tosin Martins.
PITA has released four albums through the years.
The album features hit songs such as Made for More, Ope Mi, Na Lie, and featured great gospel artistes such as Nathaniel Bassey, Onos and Mercy Chinwo.
The launch, which featured some gospel artistes such as NOSA, Freke, Onos and Folabi Nuel and the likes of Nutty Josh, 121 Selah, and Emmanuel Music, was hosted by Nigeria’s comedian/MC Forever & Bibs.
Other celebrities at the event included Chef Fregs, Ayo Vincent, Sammie Okposo, Kunmi Ariyo, Pastor Damilola & Toju Oluwatoyibo, Pastor Wale Adenuga, Pastor Taiwo Bolodeoku, Thelma Benson, Favour Chukwuma, Ukeme Francis, Olaitan Dada, IBQuake and more.
