It is going to be a total shutdown today in the city of London as ‘OneAfrica Music Fest’, Africa’s leading platform that showcases the best and brightest musical talents in the continent, with the sole aim of solidifying Africa’s position within the entertainment industry on a global level, will this evening hold the UK leg of the music concert.

Schedule to hold at the SSE Arena, Wembley, London, the array of music stars from across Africa set to put up a power-packed show include recently engaged Banky W, Falz, Victoria Kimani, and Cassper Nyovest will treat fans in what may be term Afro-cultural music vibes — Afrobeat, Afropop, Afrofunk, and Soca.

Other artistes for the show are Ghana’s rap superstar Sarkodie; Congolese legend, Awilo Longomba; Gongo Aso crooner, 9ice; Atumpan, Jidenna, Davido, Tekno, P-Square, Tiwa Savage, Olamide, Alikiba, Flavour N’abania, Phyno and M.I.

Put together by Upfront and Personal Global, a management/promotion company owned by Paul Okoye. The event, Okoye said, “will see African music take over the globe while many Africans in the Diaspora get first class entertainment annually.”

The London concert would be the third in the series, having held in Houston and New York, United States. Banky W in New York hosted the inaugural edition, while Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Flavour, Stonebwoy, Davido, Diamond Platnumz, Jidenna, and Timaya were some of the artistes that performed the show that held in Barclays Centre, New York.

At the Houston edition, which held in Toyota Center, D’banj, Olamide, Flavour, Psquare, Seyi Shay, Tekno, Skales and international act, Sisqo were among the performers.

Meanwhile, a fashion event and welcome party was yesterday, held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Park Lane, Mayfair.
