Nigerian comedy stars storm Accra for Glo Laffta Fest

Star comedians of Nigerian descent will this Sunday light up the skies of Ghana, the capital city of Ghana, as Globacom hosts an edition of the popular Glo Laffta Fest at the prestigious Fantasy Dome, Trade Fair, Accra, Ghana.

Bright Okpocha, aka Basketmouth, Bovi, Gordons, Seyi Law, Dan D Humorous and Senator will top the roll of comedians, who will be entertaining guests at the superlative show. They will be on the podium alongside Ugbokolo, Uganda’s best comedian, Salvador, as well as Ghanaian comedy icons including DKB, khemical, Jacinta and Foster Romanus.

Globacom said the show would be the best in Ghana’s contemporary history of corporate entertainment, adding, “the show was organised so that our teeming subscribers in Accra and environs will have a taste of what their brothers and sisters here in Nigeria have been enjoying over the years.”

While adding that this is a way of giving back to its subscribers in Ghana, the company emphasised that the subscribers are its priority.“We spare no efforts at delighting them with quality entertainment as we do with our services at all times,” the company added.

The total telecommunications service provider explained that the show is similar to the ones it had executed before now in Nigeria, as it is basically free.Subscriber who desire to attend the show are, however, required to recharge their Glo lines and expend a token GHc 20 for voice only or minimum of GHc 30 for both voice and data over a period of 30 days before he event.

Prospective Globacom subscribers, who want to watch the show, are required to buy Glo bundle SIM of GHc30 and subsequently gain entry to the venue to experience the indelible moments of excitement, which the show provides.

The Ghana edition of Glo Laffta Fest promises to leave indelible imprints on those who will be attending owing to the gamut of accomplished comedy professionals who are scheduled to perform at the show.
