Following his move to United States six months ago, Bugatti Records signee, Sossi, is relishing attention his music career has been receiving. The Sebee crooner, went silent shortly after moving to the God’s own country.

The singer has dispelled rumours making round that his career has taken the back seat since he took the decision to relocate abroad. Sossi in a chat said he has not been away as against the rumours being peddled around, adding that he has been working and this is evident in the way people have been talking about his new single, Give You, which is gaining acceptance in the airwaves within and outside the country.

“We have been working on the record label, doing the promotion of a couple of songs that will be released in a matter time. At a time, things were not within my control, so I had to take a chill to work on some areas of my life that needed much attention just like my career. I was also getting better at my craft, not just as an artiste but also as a better individual and citizen of Nigeria. I have equally been building relations and working day and night on how to better understand the industry and how it works,” he said.

Speaking on how he felt working with an international music producer on his new project, Sossi described the experience as an eye-opener, saying: “I have worked with a couple of music producers in Nigeria before coming to the US, but working with Mickey Goom on my new single was a big step ahead for me.

“The song was produced by Mickey Goom, mix and mastered by Angel Sounds Mix. The video was directed by A1 visuals. I think these guys showed me the other side of music that has shaped my thinking and helped the production of my new song,” he added.

The Bamidele singer also said he is not resting on his oars and would give everything possible to push his career to the next level with the support of his record label.

“I’m positive about my career now because from the look of things, I’m already breaking new grounds with Give You and I just want to ‘capitalise’ on the new experience and growth. The song was released to increase to fans anticipation for subsequent releases. Something big in the works with regards to Bamidele, which was my previous single. Good music never dies, remember,” he enthused.

It was reported that Sossi dumped his record label, BRG, as things went sour between him and the label owners. The singer clarifying the issue said it was not true. “BRG has been somewhat supportive since my move. The news that things have gone bad between the label owners and I is far-fetched. Like every normal business, clash of ideas is a major factor. However, the key to success is compromising on all fronts, which is the situation now.”
