Motherland beckons births Africa Turkey Music Amalgamation

Motherland Beckons has created the Africa Turkey Music Amalgamation (ATMA) and through its Atunda Entertainment is launching African talents to the world and connecting the continent to other countries.

The entertainment platform is promoting Motherland (Africa) notched up activities and partnering countries such as Cote d’Ivoire, Tanzania and Ghana.

The train of showcasing Africa talents and exposing its creative industries, tourism, art and craft, as well as business opportunities, has anchored in Turkey with AMTA staging a spectacular and historic event in the country. This also saw the official opening of Africa Turkey Trade Centre (ATTC) office in Konya, Turkey on January 15.

Prior to this event, Atunda Entertainment, which is Motherland Beckons activation and noted for posting outstanding musical and theatrical productions and nurturing budding talents to stardom had a one-hour rehearsal with some notable Turkish musicians. The rehearsal led to the production of a fusion of African and Turkish music.

This fantastic delivery got a 30-minute standing ovation from the distinguished audience, which had in attendance the president of MUSIAD, founder of Motherland Beckons, Wanle Akinboboye and 35 African ambassadors led by the doyen of the diplomatic community in Turkey, the Ambassador of Congo Democratic Republic.

Following its recent spectacular outing ATMA is preparing to hold another thrilling show, which will have the best of both countries’ music delivered to the world in unusual cosmopolitan manner.

The musical show promises to feature the stunning and acrobatic ARA (Thunder), a female talking drummer; velvet-voiced Adigun Olohun Iyo; gifted and astounding Olo Omidan Bata; and the delectable beauty Queen, Anu Lady Ekwe on stage.

It is instructive to note that these acts were only unleashed to the entertainment world after a minimum of four years of rigorous training and grooming, and they gave good account of their grooming in Konya Turkey.

The group’s performance has since opened the door for deluge of invitations from Turkey and other European countries. They have also been booked for the Africa Day celebration on May 25 in Ankara, Turkey.

This yearly activation will feature musical acts from 54 African countries and the Diaspora, and will no doubt further unite Africa with Turkey, engender friendliness between both worlds and ultimately create wealth and global fame for emerging young acts.
