It was a dual celebration of two brothers’ birthdays same day in Lagos recently, as the Adebutu offspring serenaded themselves.

The elder brother, Ladi, moved the party train to Lagos to celebrate the birthday of his brother, Ajibola, at 50, even as Ladi decided to make his own birthday low-key celebration.

Unknown to many, Ladi, a member of the House of Representatives, used the opportunity to debunk rumours around town that he was moving to another party to realise his governorship ambition.

He was very emphatic that he is still a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on whose platform he was elected into the National Assembly.

His dream of contesting the governorship of Ogun State is still intact and on the platform of PDP, which gave him the ticket to serve in the first place.

It was gathered that there are plans to honour him with a chieftaincy title in Sagamu next month in a one-in-town celebration, when he would eventually mark his belated birthday.
