Tagged ‘Asa Live in Lagos Encore’, the concert will hold at EKO Convention Centre, Lagos. Fans are already excited, both those that attended and those who missed the 2016 edition of the live in concert.

As expected, the ‘Fire on the Mountain’ singer, whose success was well raved about by many will hold down the stage with utmost confidence. She will be performing with her band and a 30-piece orchestra, Vesta Violins.

Following the organisers statement, Asa will share her musical journey with her friends and fans through her songs that have made up her life these past 10 years.

“Her songs say a lot about our melancholy, our dreams, our thoughts and our reflections. It almost feels like they’ve have been part of our lives even before Asa wrote and sang them,” the organisers said.

Regarded as one of the best Nigerian music export, owing to the critical acclaim of all her works. Her critically acclaimed, multi-platinum selling, eponymous debut album, ‘Asa’ was released in 2007. Her second album, Beautiful Imperfection, was released on 25 October 2010.

The ‘Bibanke’ singer had in 2016 ended her ‘Bed of Stone’ tour in Lagos with the Asa Live in Lagos concert. Expectations are that she will pull collaboration just like that she did with Cobhams, another performing act. Also, fans should expect an orgasmic feel of amazing musical rendition. Her low-tempo, mid-tempo and up-tempo fan favorite songs should be on the menu.

A crop of talented Nigerian music acts like seen with Bez, Kaline, Falana and Isaac Geralds, opening up for the singer at the 2016 edition of live in concert should be looked out for at the ‘Encore’ edition.

Also, the show won’t be complete without some entertaining dance steps from Asa like those she pulled off at her last Lagos show. It would be interesting to see her newly adopted or personally crafted dance steps based on pop-culture.
