After several months of pussyfooting, intrigues, scheming, and grandstanding, President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday assigned portfolios and inaugurated his cabinet members.

The ministers on assumption of office unanimously promised and assured Nigerians that they would deliver democracy dividends in line with President Buhari’s change mantra.

Having been conversant with such promises and assurances in the past that ended as lip service and empty talks, Nigerians seemed not to be carried away by this. As the ministers settle down in office, many Nigerians have tasked them to live up to expectation if they are truly the change agents.
