Ifeoluwa Sowemimo also known as Ifé is a lady to look out for this year because of her style of singing. Her love for music started while she was in the choir. The mass communication graduate of Olabisi Onabanjo University eventually discovered she could take up music as a career, after working with two different firms upon graduation.

Ife, who recently debut her first single titled Olorun Mi on the March 1, 2016, is officially signed on 805 Record.

“In May 2015, the opportunity came for me and I took it to a professional level. Basically, I’m called to do gospel and I have no regrets because I love what I do.”

She continues, “It was so challenging initially but when I was signed to 805 Records, it opened my eyes, built me and made me see music in another way. Things are very much easier,” she said.

She continued: “I respect a lot of people and these wonderful artistes had influenced me positively in my music journey. People like Nathaniel Bassey, Midnight Crew, K’ore, Lara George, Soni Badu are all good at what they do and I appreciate their efforts in the industry.”

On how she intends to beark into the already saturated music industry, she said her kind of song is unique and different from the everyday songs being played or aired. “I am a contemporary African gospel singer with deep traditional proverbial lyrics. God has also blessed me with the soothing voice,” he said.
