Why should I hire an event planner?

Why can’t I do all the planning myself?
Of course you can do all the planning yourself. It will only be a hassle checking out many sources for each supplier category, making sure all the details are in place and worrying about whether you’re getting the best deal and whether everything will turn out alright. We have the training and experience to make it all come together while you relax and enjoy the fun and festivities of your event just like every other guest.

Why can’t one of my friends or family members help me plan my event?
Planning an event can be stressful, especially when the people doing it are involved emotionally. Friends and family want everything to be perfect for you, or what they think is perfect for you and this could lead to potential conflicts and hurt feelings. Even though friends and family members have very good intentions, they deserve and want to enjoy the event with you rather than spending the day working. Royals’ Delight offers a high level of service. We watch over all the details and make sure that your event day is worry and stress free – for everyone.

Do you charge an initial consultation?
No, our initial consultation is complementary. We like to take this time to get to know you and ensure that we’re the best fit for your needs. We want to make sure that you feel comfortable trusting us to tend to the details on your big day.
Hiring an event planner is expensive, my budget can’t accommodate that!
Absolutely not. Having us plan your event does not in any way extend your budget. Whatever your budget is, we always know how to stick to it. We get you the best prices on all items based on our relationships with vendors and suppliers, thereby saving you the money you spend on hiring us.

Do you take any kickbacks or commissions from event vendors?
No, we do not take kickbacks or commissions from any vendor. We only refer qualified, reputable vendors who fit your needs, style and budget. Accepting kickbacks downplays our integrity which is our most priced virtue.

How much communication will we have?
There is no limit on email or phone communications. You can email, call or text as much and as often as you need to. It is our policy to respond to all messages promptly. Our goal is to ensure you are always in the loop, feeling heard and feeling confident in the proceedings.

How many events do you coordinate per day?
We only coordinate one event per consultant per day. Your coordinator will have no other events to distract them from your event.
Will you be at my event?
Absolutely! Your coordinator will be the person you see most on your day. We may have an assistant, or several, with us as well but your coordinator will be the person overseeing the details from the minute vendors begin to arrive until the very last guest and everyone in attendance leaves the event venue.

Will you eat, drink and dance during the reception? How comfortable will you make yourself?
We are there to do a job, therefore we will absolutely not be drinking any alcohol nor will we join your guests on the dance floor.

What do you do during the reception when you’re done coordinating our ceremony?
Once our logistical duties are fulfilled we then act as an extension of staff to the vendors. Often times we are coordinating as well as assisting the caterers with serving. We help clear plates, we refill water glasses, and offer your guests every possible assistance to ensure they are comfortable. We are also watching the clock to ensure that your event goes on as planned and within scheduled time. Ultimately, our work is never “done” until your event day is finally over.
