The like-mind group of Afolabi Oke, Oladapo Omideyi, Olajide Babatunde and Femi Oyekola have perfected all arrangements to berth with Ibadan Musical Society of Nigeria (IMUSON), which will be strategically located in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

According to a statement made available to High Society, come December 2, the city of Ibadan will play host to top entertainers, artistes, art enthusiasts as well as other eminent Nigerians, during its inaugural performance that will feature about 150 children mass choir and a 100-man dance performance at the Cultural Centre in Ibadan.

It was gathered that the convener has acquired a large hectare of land for the centre, a multi-million naira architectural masterpiece.

Indeed, it is worthy effort and a welcome development in this age and time when majority of art houses in Nigeria are struggling to stay in business mostly due to lack of a strong support base, lack of innovation, and limited art management knowledge.
