OKOYA, Alhaji Rasaq Akanni, administrator, businessman, Chairman and Chief Executive of Eleganza Group will be 76 on Tuesday, January 12, 2016. He was born in Lagos on January 12, 1940 and had his education at the Ansar-Ud-Deen School, Oke Popo, Lagos. In 1972, he established a cottage industry, which produced Eleganza ladies shoes, slippers and bags. Consequently, this led to the birth of Eleganza Industries Limited, which practically produces household goods and utensils. He is a Knight Commander of the distinguished Order of Peacock, Island Club, the Otun Are of Lagos and Bobajoko of Oke-Ona, Egba.

RASAKI, General Raji Alagbe (rtd) soldier, administrator, politician will be 69 on Thursday, January 7, 2016. He was educated at Christ Apostolic Church, Olugbode, Ibadan, Oyo State, 1955-60; Nigerian Military School, Zaria after which he proceeded to the Nigerian Defense Academy, Kaduna between 1967 and 1970. He held many command and staff positions. He was adjutant Lagos Garrison Signal Regiment, 1970-71; Commanding Officer Second Signal Regiment; Commander Signal Support Brigade, 1978-79; Commander Army Signal Corps; Commander Army Headquarters Garrison & Signal Group. He was military governor of Ogun State between 1986 and 1987; Lagos State in 1988. In 2005, he joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

YUSUF, Fassy Adetokunboh Olore, lawyer, media and communication consultant, author and former Ogun State Commissioner for Information, Sports and Culture will be 61 on January 3, 2015. He is a graduate of CAM Foundation, London; British School of Journalism and Television; Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK; and Chartered British Institute of Public Relations, London. He also read Law at Ogun State University (now Olabisi Onabanjo) before proceeding to the Nigerian Law School, after which he was called to the Nigerian Bar. He holds Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Henley Business School/Brunel University, England; and Masters degree in Mass Communication from University of Lagos.

He started his working career in the Nigerian Police before moving into the private sector in 1976. He was Chief Executive/Managing Director of Guy Saries Limited before he founded his own companies. Presently into legal practice, consulting for local and international organisations; fellow of several professional bodies including Chartered Institute of Taxation, Advertising Council of Nigeria, Institute of Public Relations, National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria, and Institute of Directors. He holds several traditional titles including the Baagbimo of Ijebuland, Asiwaju of Obanikoro. Author of Alfa Jeje, the Biography of Justice S.M.A. Belgore, former Chief Justice of Nigeria, Issues in Nigerian Justice Administration, and Contemporary Issues in Nigerian Judiciary.
