It has been two decades since our mother Late Mrs Grace Ebunoluwa Idowu left us to be with the Lord. For the family, it has been a herculean task navigating life without you. But by the grace of God, we shall see on the resurrection morning. Continue to rest in the bosom of the Lord. We love and Miss you mum.

Late Grace Ebunoluwa Idowu was born on July 10, 1945, into the Amuro Falade royal family of Temidire-Ekiti, Ikole Local Council. Her Father was Pa. Gabriel Falade and Mother was Mrs. Phebean Falade both of blessed memory. She had her elementary education at Methodist Primary School, Ikole-Ekiti, commenced secondary education at Methodist Girl High School in Ifaki-Ekiti and completed at Methodist High School Ilesha.

She had her tertiary education at the School of Agriculture, Akure between 1969-1971 where she gave her life to Christ in one of Scripture Unions (SU) outings and she was steadfast for the Lord Jesus Christ until she was called to glory on August 5, 2000, at the age of 55.

Upon graduation, she got employed with the Western State Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources at the Poultry Section from 1971-1986 when she graciously retired from the civil service. Until her death she was a quintessential businesswoman, wife and mother to her children.

Late Mrs. Grace Ebunoluwa Idowu got married to her heartthrob Pastor. D.O.O Idowu on July 23, 1977, in Ikole-Ekiti and the marriage is blessed with three children. Mrs. Idowu loved her family members to a fault and continually extended an arm of fellowship to her people from Temidire and her extended family members from Ayedun-Ekiti. She belonged to many Christian fellowships and learnings, plus myriads of people with different believes and religious orientation. She loved everyone and was friends with everyone regardless of belief or religious inclination.

Sister Grace, as her Christian folks fondly called her, lived a very vibrant Christian life since she gave her Life to Jesus Christ. Until her triumphant call to glory, she was a member of the choir whose sonorous voice is unmatched. She was a founding member of the Christian Fellowship Group (CGF), which metamorphosed to the Christian Faith and Fellowship Mission (CFFM) of which she is reputed to be the mother of the Choir.

She was a very disciplined woman, yet very caring, kind, absolutely loving, humble, reliable and absolutely trustworthy. She was a pioneer member of the Church’s Council of Elders, and also doubled as the church’s treasurer, a role she undertook with every sense of accountability until her demise.
