Femi Kuti, Flavour, Bez for Glenfiddich Mavericks Experimental Night

Known for always creating experiences that’s all about experimentation with trailblazers in the Nigeria music scene, world’s most awarded single malt whisky, Glenfiddich, will again thrill Lagosians to great music with its Mavericks Experimental Night.

Billed to hold next Friday, October 18, at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace in Victoria Island, Lagos; the event according to the organisers, promises a more electrifying and scintillating outing than last year, which had the city of Lagos enveloped in ecstasy and fun.

Created on its tradition of innovation and consistently pushing the limits of consumer experience, this year’s edition of the event, which brings people together to socialize amid drinks with great taste and specially curated musical performances will feature renowned music heavyweights and true mavericks such as Femi Kuti, Flavour, Bez and The Compozers, from the UK.

The premium single malt whisky had in July this year, held simultaneously in Owerri and Lagos the Glenfiddich Mavericks Night, a prelude to Glenfiddich Mavericks Experimental Night, delivering an all-night experience of invigorating performances from Niniola, T Classic, Chinko Tiger, DJ Yosir and hypeman Spanky Manolo.

Last year, the brand took entertainment and artistry several notches higher by introducing its Experimental Series, a distinctive range from Glenfiddich that combines the brand’s passion for pushing whisky boundaries and collaborating with trailblazers from the whisky world and beyond.

Partnering with organisers of Felabration, an annual Afrobeat music festival that celebrates the legacies of the Abami Eda (weird one), Fela Anikulapo Kuti, for the first time in history, Lagosians were able to experience Felabration on the Island, even as residents of FCT were able to experience Felabration in Abuja for the first time.
