We have seen famous and not too famous celebrities journey into the beauty industry and are making a fortune from this billion-dollar industry. From Kim Kardashian-West, Kylie Jenner and Rihanna (which has the world shaking with her Fenty line) they have become major shakers of the beauty industry since they launched their lines.

So, it is no surprise if the younger Williams sister wants to tap into this industry as well. Recently making her comeback into the game on March 8, one of the greatest athletes of all time, Williams just staked her claim in the beauty world. Going by recently found trademark documents, we should expect to see makeup, hair, and body products from the 23 grand slam champion anytime soon.

Williams recently filed the paperwork to trademark “Aneres”-Serena spelled backwards-in January. From the filing, it looks as though Williams is getting ready for some empire building. She locked down the Aneres name for 18 beauty categories, among them lipstick, lip gloss, eye shadow, powder, foundation, eyeliner, mascara, makeup remover, skin care, perfume, body lotion, shampoo, dry shampoo, hair rinses, hair spray and gel, cosmetics cases, and makeup brushes.

While she hasn’t officially announced anything yet, fans are already anticipating what she has to offer and if her tenacity and drive for perfection are anything to go by, beauty enthusiasts wouldn’t be left disappointed when the beauty products drop eventually.
