Payporte Global Systems (PGS), which is now solely into fashion, officially unveiled its fashion line at the portal’s offline store in Lagos recently, with a runway show that showcased their variety of fashion lines and accessories.

Graced by men and women who didn’t miss any chance to shop for outfits and accessories of different shades at the store, the CEO, Eyo Bassey, during the event said, the ideology behind going into fashion is because of its sustainability. “Instead of having to do a bit of everything, we decided it’s better to focus on what we know how to do best, which is fashion. We’re doing men, women, children clothing, and accessories. We are also into wearable electronics that complements your fashion style.

“Before this new innovation, we were doing everything but now we’re an exclusive fashion brand. Our demography is more focused on people between age 16 and 25. We are also actively going into brick and mortar stores, we’re doing both online and offline. So you can order online, come pick up in the store or ask us to deliver to you,” he said.

Bassey further said the brand gives room for their customers to access a pay-small-small policy, which is of course different from shop and pay later. “Pay-small-small is order and pay bit by bit, when you’ve paid up, we would make delivery. This is to make payment easy for this category of customers. They can order what they want ahead and make payment in bits. However, we would eventually come up with pay later, but it would be for our civil servants customers” he said.

He added that Payporte had always been known for high quality goods and would sustain that culture. “To ensure quality assurance, most of our outfits are manufactured by us in our factory here in Nigeria rather than having to import,” Bassey assured.
