Ahead of this year’s NickFest billed to open on September 29, at the Federal palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, the organisers have unveiled list of artistes, who will be entertaining kids at the event.

To be hosted by TV personality, Ikponmwosa ‘IK’ Osakioduwa, alongside Nigeria’s Got Talent winner, Amarachi, the two-day event will feature performance by leading Nigerian artistes such as Mayorkun, Falz, Simi and Adekunle Gold.

Organised in partnership with Maltina brand, tickets for the second season of NickFest are already available and parents can take advantage to treat their families to a two-day extravaganza at the orange entertainment filled wonderland.

In addition to Maltina’s Happyland, the entertainment packed event will be welcoming associate sponsors Indomie and DStv Nigeria, who will be joining in on the fun by creating additional experience zones.

Families can anticipate performances by Nickelodeon’s superstar characters: SpongeBob Square Pants; Adventure Bay’s intrepid pups, Skye, Rubble Marshall and Chase from Paw Patrol; the energetic Dora the Explorer with her animal rescuer cousin, Diego and her best pal, Boots.

The genies, who can solve any problem, Shimmer and Shine, are also part of the amazing character lineup and there will be surprise performances by some of Africa’s adored entertainers.

Kids and parents can look forward to lots of singing, dancing and pure laugh out loud wholesome fun as they are whisked away to their favorite Nickelodeon characters’ worlds.

Once again the Celebrity Slime Challenge will be the highlight of NickFest as popular personalities are slimed green in an effort to raise both awareness and funds for children support through NGO projects in Nigeria.

This follows last year’s success in which some of Nigeria’s top entertainers such as Mr. P (Paul of P-Square), Chioma Akpotha, Ill Bliss, Mr. Eazi, Samantha Walsh and Ehiz, all featured in the festival and got slimed several times in order to raise awareness and funds for the indigent Children’s Trust project.

Apart from creating an opportunity for attendees to give to a good cause, the festival serves as an avenue for children to have fun with their favourite Nickelodeon characters and for adults to let loose and unleash their inner child.

This year will host more than 4,000 children and families at the venue, which will be transformed into a bright orange Nickelodeon and Maltina funfest.
