It was a night of ecstasy, soulful music and fun, as X3M Music artiste Simi launched her latest album, Simisola. Staged at The Lekki Coliseum, Lekki, Lagos, provided opportunity for fans to meet with their artiste, as well as listen to songs from her sophomore Afro-pop album, her first since joining X3M Music three years ago.

Before now, Simi had released a number of hit singles such as Tiff, Jamb Question, Outta My Head and a couple of other collaborations that got many singing along.

Hosted by IllRhymz, the event was attended by some notable artistes and guests including Falz, Bez, Dare Art Alade, Ade Bantu, Bolanle Olukanni, Toke Makinwa, the Managing director, Multichoice Nigeria Mr. John Ugbe and others.

The 12-track album includes heart-serenading tracks such as Remind Me, Angelina, Aimasiko, Gone For Good, One Kian, Take Me Back, which was the only song that had Adekunle Gold featured. It also include Complete Me, which was inspired by a true-life event, with three bonus tracks: Tiff, Jamb Question and Love Don’t Care.

The singer did not fail to thank everybody, who graced the event, including her producer Oscar and CEO of X3M music group, Steve Babadeko.

“From the bottom of my heart I am very grateful to everybody that came out to show me love and support. Their presence means a lot to me. I cannot fail to appreciate my producer Oscar and the CEO of X3M music group, Steve Babaeko for the support,” she said.

The album, which ranked No.1 on iTunes within six minutes of release, owes its production credits to Oscar, Sess, and Seyikeyz & Vtek. And all songs on the album were written by Simi and mastered by Vtek.
