Facelift: Transcorp Hilton Abuja unveils executive floors

In preparation towards its 30th anniversary later this year, Transcorp Hotels Plc, recently announced the reopening of the Executive Floors and Lounge of its flagship -Transcorp Hilton Abuja.

In preparation towards its 30th anniversary later this year, Transcorp Hotels Plc, recently announced the reopening of the Executive Floors and Lounge of its flagship -Transcorp Hilton Abuja.

The affected floors, which have been under renovation since last year, aimed specifically at upgrading standard and ensuring maximum comfort, befitting of the Hilton brand.

The reopening however marked a milestone in the on-going $100 million renovation project embarked upon by the hotel.

The redesigned rooms and suites are fitted with world-class amenities and latest technology to ensure ultimate comfort of customers and guests.

Conceptualized by a Swedish interior designer ‘ Living Designs, the completed floors bear aesthetically exquisite bedrooms, lounges and bars.

To give additional value for money, customers are pampered with the introduction of eateries and bars on each floor, leaving customers in a world of a hotel within the hotel.

For total serenity and quiet, access to executive floors and lounges are technologically restricted to non-customers and guests.

Meanwhile, facilities in each room are enhanced for customers’ ultimate comfort.

Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Transcorp Hotels Plc, Valentine Ozigbo, who spoke at the reopening ceremony stated that the overhauling of the executive floor and lounge was a testament to owners’ commitment to delivering extraordinary experience to customers.

He said: “Our guests have grown to expect nothing less than the very best from us.

“That includes the pinnacle of customer service, overall comfort and a level of aesthetic appeal rivaled by no other.

“The complete overhaul of the Executive Floor and Lounge is a testament to our commitment to delivering extraordinary experience to our guests.”

The General Manager, Transcorp Hilton Abuja, Etienne Gailliez, was optimistic that the renovation, which was initiated last year, will excite guests.

He commended the hotel owners for sharing same level of understanding and embracing the brand culture of creating a rewarding experience for guests.

“We are excited to attain this milestone of our renovation project. Our guests are really going to love the truly impressive transformation of the executive floor guest rooms and lounge.

“We are proud to work with owners who have a deep understanding of our industry and embrace our brand culture of creating a rewarding experience for our guests”, he stated.

Gailliez noted that all-new executive floors will continue to deliver luxury and security to guests.

Also speaking, Chairman, Transcorp Plc, Tony O. Elumelu, said he was extremely impressed with the transformation that has taken place in the hotel.

He said: “I have stayed at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja as a guest for decades and I must say that I am extremely impressed by the transformation of the executive floors.

“I have no doubt that our guests will be thrilled. I am very proud of the commitment of the team in getting the job done to ensure that the hotel continues to deliver quality that rivals any 5-star hotel experience in the world.”

The newly unveiled executive floors with 186 rooms and suites, is the first leg in the ambitious upgrade.

The Public Relations Manager, Mr. Shola Adeyemo, assured that all the 667 rooms and suites of the hotel, would be overhauled.

“Guests also have more to look forward to with extensive renovations planned for the lobby areas, banqueting and conferencing facilities, restaurants, bars and the business center.

“An all-new spa and fully upgraded fitness center will also enhance the hotel’s offerings to both lifestyle travelers and business clientele”, Adeyemo stated.
