Chief Executive, South African-based automobile company, Aremo Oba Autos, Adeshina Jelili Oladipupo, has identified vision, ideas and drive as crucial elements that are essential to the success of any business venture.

The entrepreneur, who hailed from Ogun State, said these factors are the major elements behind his meteoric success in business.

Oladipupo who revealed that he was inspired to go into business to become independent and contribute his quota to the economic development of the country, said he did not want to be employed by anyone.

“I was full of ideas and wanted to give expression to those ideas. I knew if I worked for somebody, I would not be able to give expression to them and that would have been frustrating for me,” he said.

Noting that his father was a disciplinarian who had a stern outlook on life, Oladipupo said he leaned so much from him.

Going down memory lane, the entrepreneur recalled times he sneaked away from home to play football, adding that he later started organising football games among his peers where he earned the nickname “Aremo”, which he put on his jerseys.

Oladipupo stated that he started thinking about going into business when he had saved up some money from playing lottery games and winning so many predictions.

“I saved every penny I made from the games and decided to migrate to South Africa where I continued to play soccer and became a member of Tsunami Football Club,” he said.
